Kesher Israel is more than a synagogue, more than a religious school, more than a center for life-cycle events.
We strive to be a caring community helping each other on our "Jewish Journeys", finding a greater purpose and
meaning in our daily lives. We aspire to make our community & our world a better place through active Jewish
living and informed by Jewish learning.

Kadima

Kadima Overview

{Kadima LogoKadima Logo} Kadima is the youth group for grades 5 through 7, and is the precursor to United Synagogue Youth (USY), which encompasses grades 8 through 12.

Both groups meet on a monthly basis for fun and fellowship. This is an opportunity for our children to meet on a social basis outside of the classroom and form bonds and friendships with other Jewish children both within and beyond our community.

Our Kadima chapter was formed in January of 2002, and we currently have 44 Kadimaniks. Kadima meets once a month for social activities such as ice skating, rock climbing, and game days. The Kadima Chapter has dinner in the synagogue sukkah and is also invited to join the USY Chapter at the chocolate Seder.
